We have an apartment in the lovely bay of El Portet, which we rent when not using it ourselves. It is within a few hundred yards of the sandy El Portet beach which is ideal for children and has just a small number of bars and restaurants.
The swimming pool at the rear is shared by the eight apartments, as is the poolside patio & barbeque. Steps from the pool area lead to a secluded sunbathing terrace on the roof, from which there are views of the surrounding hills, the bay and beach. A private balcony provides views to the sea and if it is very hot the covered access between the apartment and pool is a cool sitting area.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, refrigerator and microwave. A safe is provided for your valuables. A satellite television (free channels only) and DVD are included, and the bedroom & lounge have ceiling fans to add to your comfort. Bed linen and towels (except beach towels) are provided together with sufficient for you to change on your second week.
The apartment is situated in Portet de Moraira, which was the old fishing port of Moraira. From the apartment there are views down towards the sandy beach, the bay and to the hills dotted with luxury villas. Around the headland, just a few minutes drive or 15 minutes walk, there is the town of Moraira with its shops, restaurants, cafes and the marina full of expensive and interesting yachts. Moraira has a weekly market on Friday, & there are banks, supermarkets and bars.

apartment is one of only eight in a building that was converted from an old
chandlery.
The
apartment is nicely furnished for 4 persons and comprises a bedroom with double
bed, a lounge with a settee that converts to a double and single (also a Z bed
provided), bathroom with shower and washing machine.
